ANSWER:
There are several reasons why a person might have trouble uploading. Here
are some of the most common:
New Domain name
If your domain name is new or if you have just changed its name server
settings, it will not resolve to your hosting account until 48 hours have
passed. It takes that long for the various networks connected to the Internet
to discover the domain.
Incorrect DNS
Your domain name must be pointed to our hosting servers for you to be
able to publish your site. Below are the www.namemom.com name servers
you must attach to your domain name:
ns1.secureserver.net and ns2.secureserver.net
Please contact your registrar on how to point your domain to those name
servers. Again, changes like this take 48 hours to go through regardless
of where the domain is registered.
Non-existent Account
If you do not have a hosting account that is active then you cannot publish
your website. Please visit www.namemom.com Hosting for more information
about our hosting plans or to signup for a hosting account.
Incorrect Username or Password
You may be using incorrect login information if you receive a 'login failure'
message. Please visit our Passwords Retrieval page to verify your
username and password for the hosting account.
If none of the circumstances apply to your situation then please email
our professional support staff at support@secureserver.net. We also have
created tutorials for the most commonly used FTP programs. Click here
